What You Can Expect During A Session

I draw upon different modalities to address the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of the presenting issue.

These modalities include but are not limited to:

  • Meditation
  • Breath Work
  • Imagery and Visualization
  • Emotional Freedom Technique/Tapping
  • Internal Family Systems
  • Healing Rituals
  • Journaling
  • Creative Self-Expression (i.e. music, dance, art, writing).

I typically start the session with a guided meditation to allow you to connect with your inner world, feel more grounded and become more open to receive healing from your Higher Self. During the meditation, I encourage you to listen, feel and sense into an intention for the time together.

To tune into the physical body, I guide clients to breathe into any discomfort/tightness/pain and allow the body’s wisdom to communicate the emotions it is holding. From this place of connection, the body can naturally move into balance and authentic self-expression.

I often introduce Emotional Freedom Technique/Tapping to help the body relax, calm the nervous system and allow emotions to flow through the system. I assist clients in developing a strong, healthy, loving connection with their body so they can access their inner wisdom and intuition.

With the use of Internal Family Systems, we will work with the parts of you that are holding thoughts, feelings, beliefs and burdens from painful life experiences. As humans experience painful events in their lives, parts are created to help the individual survive the experience and protect the inner system from feeling too overwhelmed. By helping these parts unburden the pain they are carrying, clients are able to move into greater joy, connection with their Higher Self energy, and feel more aligned with their soul’s purpose. When each part is given the space to be witnessed, it can release the burden it has been carrying, and return to its original essence and form of expression. Rituals and creative expression are often used to honor the pain and its origins, hold it with compassion, and release it into a realm that resonates with the client.
